Born Royal

I was born royal in the heart of Kansas City. The 816 is in my blood. Let me tell you, after some dangerous experiences in Milwaukee I have never been more glad to be home. I finished up my internship and eagerly trekked 9 hours back to Kansas City in my little hoop-dee PT Cruiser. In these photos I repped my Royals gear proudly in the heart of MKE. And, as I always did when wearing Royals gear in the Good Land, I got some dirty looks and laughed about it.

This is a simple and easy look, perfect for lazy days. It's effortless and comfy--two of my favorite things in a cute outfit. I paired my World Series Hosmer jersey with a simple cotton romper from Gap Factory. Slip on some white sandals (from Gap Factory), add a few accessories, and you've got a comfy Sunday brunch look. This outfit would also look great with white converse!

It's all in the details for me. I must admit, I am typically so busy that I don't get to fully utilize my awesome jewelry collection. I included a close-up shot of some of the fun bracelets I'm wearing. This beer bottle cap bracelet is one of my favorite ever bracelets. It's a family tradition of mine to visit City Museum in St. Louis yearly and I always get the most unique jewelry in the giftshop. I also love these little baseball bracelets (linked below) that are only $10 and make the perfect gifts for any KC die-hard.

But, enough of the Royals. It's time to roll out that red and gold. *insert tomahawk chant*
