Barbie Girl

It's crazy to think that December is already here! These photos were taken in October and I'm just now getting around to positing them, but it was so hot on this day. Fast forward two months and there's already been a mini blizzard. Gotta love Missouri's ever changing weather! I have never paid for presets before, but I tried the Tezza App's free trial on these photos and I definitely love how they turned out!

This jumpsuit is probably one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe. I purchased it from one of my favorite Kansas City small businesses Retro Vixen. It's impossible to wear this jumpsuit and not feel like a retro barbie doll. I have always loved the original 1959 barbie doll in her black and white striped swimsuit--the most iconic barbie outfit of all time. I'm a sucker for anything retro or pinup style, so I feel like this jumpsuit was made for me. I added a pink vintage belt and hot pink lips for a classic Barbie look, but cherry red would also compliment it perfectly. Pair it with the perfect booties, cat eye sunnies, and a Betsey Johnson purse for a Barbie chic look.

Currently I've been listening to Young the Giant's latest album. I am in love with the song "Superposition." Check it out here.

Stay Curious,
